Investment Committee

The Investment Committee will select the projects to invest in and/or provide financial contributions to on the recommendation of the Selection and advisory committee.

The investment committee determine the guidelines for financial contributions, including ethical guidelines that must be observed by anyone who receives funds from the Foundation. Furthermore, the investment committee set the rules regarding the conditions that must be met in order to be accepted as a recipient of funds from the Foundation, as well as procedures for application and allocation.

Jarle Kvam, Partner at Wiersholm Law Firm

Jarle Kvam works mainly with advising and contract drafting in connection with business transfers, mergers and private equity instruments. He has a long experience in international negotiations. Kvam is an expert in company law and stock exchange law.
Kvam is ranked among Norway's most promnent lawyers in his field f expertice and was ranked leadingin his category M&A in IFLR1000 and Finansavisen 2010.

Rune Rinnan, Founder and Managing Partner , Tele Venture AS

Rune Rinnan holds a Master of Managment (Siviøkonom) from Handelshøyskolen BI.
Hi held several managment posistions in ABB and subsidaries from 1989-1993.
He is the founder and managing partner of Tele venture Management og Telenor Venture since 1993.

Dr.George Njenga

Dr. George Njenga is the Deputy Vice Chancellor Strathmore University Research and Senior lecturer in ethics and management. He is also responsible for overseeing the activities of Strathmore Business School. He is a former Director of Strathmore Business School and was responsible for the entire formation and execution of the University’s plans for its MBA initiative and Executive Business Education. Mr. Njenga served as Strathmore’s Director of the School of Accountancy and Distance Learning Centre of Strathmore University.
Before entering the education sector, Mr. Njenga served in the private sector as Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young in Nairobi. He also acted as receiver on the firm’s behalf of Golden Beach Hotel in a significant local insolvency case. In addition to his professional duties, Mr. Njenga is a Director of Pacis Insurance Company plc, board member of Waumini Insurance Brokers and Medical Supplies (MEDS) plc in Nairobi

Carl Espen Wollebekk

Mr. Wollebekk has a Bachelor of Science degree from Copenhagen Business
School (CBS) and holds a Master of Business Administration from Schiller
International University in London.
Mr. Wollebekk has extensive international experience from banking and finance and
has lately worked many years within investment banking, both as top manager, CEO and
adviser to small, medium and large corporations with in a wide range of industries
and services. Mr. Wollebekk has prior to this had a long professional carrier within
the ICT industry and worked as Finance director and CFO in several international
companies. Through his career Mr. Wollebekk has held numerous board positions with
listed and unlisted companies, worked as Business angel and as private investor and
been involved with several start up’s in the Nordic region. Mr. Wollebekk is now
Partner & Managing Director in Arkwright Corporate Finance AS. Mr. Wollebekk is
married to Tine Gottlob Wollebekk.

Tine Wollebekk

Tine Wollebekk is the former Country Manager of SEB - Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken - in Norway and the CEO of the card business of SEB - SEB Kort.
Currently Tine is an independent director of several Boards, among others in the Financial sector, automotive industry and electro and automation industry. She is also working as an advisor in the financial sector and in Private Equity.

Tine holds a Bachelor Degree and a Master of Science in International Business from Copenhagen Business School
